I don't tailgate, I draft

« on: April 14, 2008, 01:14:38 PM »

It started with the dryer not working, then I had shorts with some electrical, after a $50 service call, find out there is nothing wrong with the dryer but actually more electrical, first visit cost me $85, buddy did not find the problem but did not charge me, on a hunch I changed the fuse cartridge, now works fine, another $35.  Had to fix a bearing in the front of wifey's car, got a part for 96 bucks but had to get work done by someone else as I had to go away, another $120.  Then decided to have a BBQ when I got home and now there is a problem with the BBQ, possibly a simple part but still pissing me off.  It gets better, I am taking my kids to nanny's and one starts vomiting all inside the car, poor little guy was sick for 2 days.  He got vomit on my jacket, so nanny being kind put it in the washer for me, my mp3 was in the pocket.  To top it off, my sister calls me to tell me that my neice's cancer is back, how fu#king lovely is that.

Now finally, I get a stroke of luck, after 3 days of drying out the mp3, I turn it on and thank goodness, it works.  One small thing perhaps but at least something has gone my way today.  I am so tired of fixing crap etc, enough already  Time for some good luck for a change, goddamnit.... Angry

Best of luck to your niece, mom.  Hope she battles through this.  Your sister must be beside herself.   Sad

With my luck as late, Raul would conscript me into the army or I would somehow end up at gitmo in a cell with Khadr. Undecided

Best wishes to your niece Mom.  I'm sure that you will realize how small the other misfortune's are compared to her struggle.

Hopefully your luck improves soon though! cheers.
