This is going to sound nerdy - but programming.

Nothing beets that feeling of crafting out code spread out over a multitude of modules and having it compile. Laugh if you will, but there is an art to it.

Hell I'm not going to laugh at that Oogie. I can totally relate. I'm not a programmer and next to you I'm a cave woman but I do understand the pleasure in basic HTML coding...it's a whole 'nother language.  Grin

I used to crochet.  My hands can't take it any more.  Now I scrapbook and make cards.

I'm more of a user of creations than a creator, I do create great meals though, I love cooking.  I used to write short stories but stopped after the kidlums, no time for time consuming hobbies.  I create beer and wine.  I did a little carpentry years ago but really suck at finish work, I'm that jack of all trades master of none type.  I dabble.

I make jewelry and flies.  I have more time now to indulge in it, so mom, you'll be back at the writing soon enough--I think that's a great creative outlet.  Oh, I also love bringing home river rocks for the garden; I love rock-hounding.  Grey, that name for your creations is so cute!

And, spatulas?

Ah yes.  The spatula collection.  It's one of those "You have to see it to believe it" kind of things.  They are hanging from every inch of kitchen wall space.  Pretty cool.

Arg. I dislike programming with all my heart and soul, I don't know how you can stand it...

Me, I don't really create anything now that I think of it... kinda sad...

I like to do woodworking projects, especially different things. Once I make one or two of something, I get tired of it and look for something else to make. I'd rather look at a picture of something (or an actual one) and make it without formal plans.

I also like cooking 'fancy' things, and also while I follow a recipe loosely, I generally modify it as I go along.

(kind of sounds like I'm a bit of a rebel or something, but I never thought of myself that way before  Grin)

Mrs. Oogie is into card making and general crafting, to the point that we now have a "craft cave" and I've become her sidekick - "Craftgurl and Bobbin"  Embarrassed
