 Shocked

Wonder if that might explain some of the power fluctuations I've been noticing this afternoon.

Reports that power is out at the new bridge oogie... that's around you I believe. Also reports that power is out in the area of the fire.

And, it was first reported as a brush fire, but a witness is calling it a huge forest fire..

Don't know if GE still has power....

"We are evacuating everybody from Mineville Road to West Porters Lake Road right down to the beach" in Lawrencetown, RCMP spokesman Cpl. Joe Taplin told reporters at about 5 p.m.

I'm still here and we still have power. We have the car packed with what I could grab and we're ready to leave if it gets bad. Until then I'm staying.  :(

Keep updating... Also, do you have your lawn hose ready? May be good to have if you see any hot spots.

Good luck GE.  And everyone else out there.

We have a friend that said he is going to lose his house.  He managed to get his dogs out, but couldn't find the cats.  Cry
