Rodney MacDonald government gone wild! Introduces legislation today that would add an additional 92 elected councillors to HRM!

This is not a joke.

The legislation would allow for an additional 4 councillors per district.

Link when available....
What a great strategy!  To have HRM in such utter chaos that the Tories could get away with more crimes and constitutional violations!

Bravo Roddie..brilliant diversion tactic!

They are a disgraceful mess now so adding 4 to each district would be  USELESS x 4 = increase crime, increase wasted expenses of tax payers money, more redundant services and hiring of redundant HRM staff who are already under-qualified, more contentious issues that really were not contentious in the first place, nothing getting done that is already not getting done......

My that Noddy Roddy is a clever wee boy!

snipped

New Democrat MLA Becky Kent (Cole Harbour-Eastern Passage) said she’s concerned because district councils are not something that regional council has asked for.

With Jennifer Stewart, staff reporter

( djackson@herald.ca)
Herald story
Becky Kent is only worried that her gal-pal Jackie will be outed for the waste of tax payers money that she is.

Sarah, welcome to the board.

It is interesting that you have posted disdain for the two parties at either end of the spectrum, the Tories and the NDP. Does that mean you dislike all political parties or are you a supporter of the Libs?

Thanks for the welcome KP and fair assessment of my posting spectrum but... NO..I am not a supporter of Libs either...

Based on my observations/experiences:

I used to be stanch NDP until I realized that they are frauds. What I have witnessed in my my last community and the one I reside in now were/are NDP driven and I lost complete respect.  They are like the silent colluding spouse of child abuse. Excuse my example but that is how clinical they are. I have seen too much to be confused about the Tories and short of public inquiry into their ongoing nefarious acts we are all heading for more chaos. The Libs have not recovered any respect from the Gerald Regan matter and in the near future Liberal city councillor Patrick Murphy will be in the criminal courts for a serious offense where his incarceration should be imminent if the justice system works. ( court August 18 2008, courtroom #4 Sp. Garden Rd)....this should then lead to a public inquiry into the complicity of the entire city council and police who knew of PMurphy's crimes and did nothing.

I brought serious issues of criminality/internal corruption to the Tories then to the NDP critics then to the Lib critics but only after the NDP pretended to to be hearing and visually impaired.  They are all 'guilty' for the NS mess in their own way.

If I had a magic wand I would remove all 3 parties like the school board and start anew. Too much  has went on for far too long by each party and city council. Technically we have 1 party with three heads with multiple personalities.

I am ready to support Indie if they are about getting down to business at hand for HRM and NS.  We need some one to step up into uncompromising leading roles to restore the Nova Scotia Joseph Howe  vouched for.

If there is a court date set,  then charges must have been laid.  What are the charges?
